We process data to operate Edusify, support institutes and learners, process billing, deliver invoices by email, improve our product, and meet legal obligations.

Edusify provides LMS software for course delivery, learner management, payments, reporting, and related educational tools as described on our pricing page and in our Terms of Service.

This policy applies to website visitors, account holders, institute administrators, teachers, students, and billing contacts whose data we process to deliver those services.

Account and profile data: names, email addresses, phone numbers, institute details, roles (admin, teacher, student), and credentials you provide when signing up or managing users.

Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, feature usage, and diagnostic information to secure and improve the platform.

Payment and billing data: billing contact details, plan selection, transaction records, and invoice delivery history. Card or wallet details are handled by our payment processors and app stores where applicable—we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Content you upload: course materials, assignments, messages, and other institute content needed to deliver learning services.

Provide, maintain, and secure the Edusify platform and customer support.

Process subscriptions, add-ons, and account administration for institutes.

Generate and email invoices, receipts, and billing notices to the address on your account.

Send service-related communications such as onboarding, security alerts, and plan changes.

Analyze aggregated usage to improve performance, features, and reliability.

Comply with law, enforce our Terms, resolve payment inquiries when you provide invoice proof, and protect the rights and safety of users and the public.

We share personal information with trusted service providers who help us host infrastructure, send email (including invoices), process payments, provide analytics, or deliver support—only as needed to perform their services and under appropriate confidentiality obligations.

Institute administrators may access learner and staff data within their organization according to platform permissions. We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect against fraud, abuse, or security threats.

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, resolve disputes, meet tax and accounting requirements (including invoice records), and satisfy legal requirements.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use strong passwords and protect account access.

Institute admins can update many profile fields and manage user access within the platform. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable law provides those rights.

Marketing emails, where sent, will include an opt-out where required. Service-related and billing messages, including invoices, may still be sent for account, payment, and security purposes.

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect site features.

Edusify is used by institutes that enroll learners, including minors, under their own policies and consent practices. Institutes are responsible for obtaining appropriate permissions from parents or guardians where required.

We may process data in Sri Lanka and through providers in other countries. By using Edusify, you acknowledge that data may be transferred and processed in locations with different data protection laws.
